Today's most popular digital currency renewed its all-time high after two years. Bitcoin reached a new price peak this Tuesday, 5, when being quoted in 69.202 dollars. This is the result of an appreciation that has been taking place since October 2023 no cryptoasset market.
The last historic high of the digital asset was recorded in November 2021, with quotation 68.999,99 dollars. That's why, the new milestone had already been awaited by experts as the currency accumulates growth of 160% since October.
The numbers are expressive. Bringing together broader sets of investors, the currency increased by 44% in its value only in the month of February. Furthermore, in the last eight days, the currency soared more than 25%. This entire scenario encouraged investors to enter into business.
ETF's and legal obligation
At the moment, the scenario is being favored by the high flow of investments in ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) of crypto assets in the United States. Other than that, projected drop in global interest rates also contributes to Bitcoin’s rise.
The current numbers reflect a stark contrast to 2022, year of major falls and challenges for the asset. Even with market volatility, experts are betting on this new all-time high as an important milestone for cryptocurrencies in general.
The expectation for the new record came through greater investor interest in January, quando a Exchange Comission (American capital market regulatory body) approved 11 Bitcoin ETFs at vista.

In Europe, the scenario was fueled not only by the accumulated rise in assets, but, by the financial and political weakening of many countries subject to inflationary conditions.

But, despite new records, Bitcoin presents great volatility in the market. After its peak in Dollar, around 2:30 pm this Tuesday, the quote had already returned to 65.068,17, representing remains of 1,89%. Nothing stops, although, that a strong increase could be recorded soon.
It is a trend that, after a historic milestone, Bitcoin continues to grow until a second peak. That's why, it is likely that cryptocurrency will reach a new level in the short term.
